Former Beechworth Hospital

Former Beechworth Hospital, VIC HENDRY was engaged by the Department of Treasury and finance to provide a regulatory review and services audit of the site known as the Former Beechworth Hospital as the State government intended to dispose of the site and change the land from hospital purposes to general Crown land. The site comprised some 20 buildings including the hospital buildings, boiler house, kitchen/ cafeteria building, engineering building, pharmacy, chapel and mortuary. The audit also included built environment risks, essential safety measures maintenance assessment and accessibility assessment including DDA and Building Code of Australia.
